ENCINO MAN was written by Shawn Schepps at Writers Boot Camp in 1991 when meetings were still hosted in JG’s living room.  The movie, produced by alumnus George Zaloom, landed Shawn a three-picture deal at Hollywood Pictures.  Her other credits include SON-IN-LAW, DRUMLINE and Weeds.  Producer of the renowned documentary about Francis Ford Coppola, HEARTS OF DARKNESS: A FILMMAKER’S APOCALYPSE, George later put himself through Writers Boot Camp and soon after directed his own screenplay of the romantic-comedy THE WHOLE SHEBANG, starring Stanley Tucci and Bridget Fonda.
