In collaboration with entertainment organizations and partners who share our creative sensibilities, we offer an opportunity for group members at our Santa Monica space. Located within the hub of the art gallery collective at Bergamot Station Arts Center, along with other creative businesses and two exciting restaurants, our living room-style lounge and patio are available on a weekly and monthly basis, as well as for special events hosted by industry groups and consultants in support of artists, diversity, and other philanthropic and cultural endeavors.
Guests will enter via the main Bergamot Station entrance with free, ample parking and have full access to a private and covered trendy west side patio area as well as a furnished indoor area. Depending on layout and usage of the space, the lounge can comfortably accommodate 25 guests and the overall venue 150 guests for a social or business gathering or celebration.
The ideal event as a group member at the space will be a weekly or monthly recurring meeting on a weekday morning, afternoon or evening. Certain weekend times are available.
In the past at our prior expansive Bergamot Station headquarters, Writers Boot Camp hosted events with AFI, Focus on AIDS, Crossroads HS Acting Class, The Grammy Foundation, The Jewish Federation, The Los Angeles Ballet, Make-A-Wish, Malibu Film Festival, MOCA, Riot Games, The Santa Monica Museum of Art, Sony Pictures, T.J. Martell Foundation, and Yahoo! We are pleased that many programs and philanthropic organizations have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for great causes at events held in our venue!
