In solidarity with professional writers during the current WGA strike, we invite our alumni and their and colleagues, and entertainment industry members from all guilds and unions to join us for pizza and drinks in a relaxed and cordial atmosphere at our new Bergamot HQ.

It’s a solidarity party–and the pizza and drinks are being hosted by Writers Boot Camp’s staff and founder Jeffrey Gordon.

We’re encouraging artists, artisans, actors, and filmmakers to commune and converse in support of each other for mutual insight about the challenges of the work stoppage and anxious future. Many substantive strike issues are threshold topics for the future–and others are vestiges of contract fights and rights not fully vested from strikes past.

We look forward to hosting an exceptional collective of talented artists– and we encourage all to share their experiences and viewpoints at this important juncture in our creative world.

Many friends and alumni will recall our space in the southwest corner of Bergamot in Building i where we hosted a multitude of speakers, panels, performances, and cultural events in our 18-year tenure until early 2017. Now, six years later, our new space at Bergamot Station is in the historic B-Building located to the north directly across from the main entrance–Unit B. Parking is free just as you enter to the left.

The main gate is at 2525 Michigan Avenue in Santa Monica 90404

located one block east of Cloverfield Blvd, just north of the 10 Freeway.
