Richard Arlook is a prominent American talent manager, film/television producer, and CEO of The Arlook Group, a talent and literary management, production and consulting company based in Beverly Hills. Prior to founding The Arlook Group in 2008, Richard was a senior partner and the Head of Motion Picture Literary at The Gersh Agency, where he worked for nearly two decades.
The Arlook Group specializes in representation as well as film and television production. As a producer, Richard’s work has traveled the world in theaters, festivals and online. His credits include SPACE ODDITY, which premiered last June at the Tribeca Film Festival, the Sundance hit I SMILE BACK, which starred Sarah Silverman and Josh Charles, IT HAD TO BE YOU, written & directed by Sasha Gordon, starring Cristin Milioti, and THE JOURNEY IS THE DESTINATION by Bronwen Hughes, its 2016 premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Richard’s prior credits include GOATS (2012) which premiered at Sundance and starred David Duchovny, Vera Farmiga & Ty Burrell, as well as Waiting For Forever (2010) which starred Richard Jenkins, Blythe Danner, and Rachel Bilson. He has also produced two documentaries, Lucky Ducks and Turn It Up, hosted by Kevin Bacon. His early work includes the feature film AFTER MIDNIGHT for MGM, produced when he was 26 years old and currently in development for a remake. His current list of development includes POPULAR with Berlanti Productions, THE TIP with Tristar, Saints And Sinners for HBO Max, and Dix.
