Monday, January 17th, 4pm: Aun Madison, Creative Director, Think Common Entertainment
On Dr. King’s birthday, please join us at 4pm (PST) with Anshunee “Aun” Madison, Creative Director at Think Common Entertainment and Project Manager of The Stardust Kids Project. Founder Jeffrey Gordon will moderate a conversation with Aun about her role as an executive at the forward-thinking entertainment company, as well as her views of diversity issues and initiatives, in keeping with Writers Boot Camp’s strong record of achievement in support of women and diverse voices.
Please RSVP here at this zoom link. The event will wrap by 5:15pm with ample time for Q&A. Questions may be sent to jg@writersbootcamp.com until the morning of the event. Feel free to forward this invite to colleagues in the business.
Our Chicago friends and alumni will appreciate that Aun left her home state of Texas to attend Columbia College Chicago where Common discovered her. A personal assistant for four years and tour manager for a year, she was recently promoted to the role of Creative Director. A musical artist herself, she’s one of the collective of young artists known as The Stardust Kids, and she’s signed to Common’s label, along with singer-songwriter Ilana H.R. Parach, for their project 1st Ladeez.
In honor of the national holiday and the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, alumnus Millana Snow of Wellness Official will begin the event with a brief invocation.
