Please join Writers Boot Camp Founder, Jeffrey Gordon (JG) in conversation with WhizPrompt AI Co-Founders, Justin Kahn and Jay Lane.
Justin Kahn has been deeply immersed in the tech world for over 30 years, navigating its challenges with a mix of humor and a keen eye for innovation.
After working on projects with Apple and the legendary Steve Jobs, he took a significant leap by founding WireImage, the first digital photo agency. This venture marked a notable milestone in his career, especially as it was later acquired by Getty, making it the largest acquisition in the photography sector to date. His tech journey didn’t stop there; he had the honor of redefining storytelling through technology at Warner Bros, overseeing their retail, tours, and location-based experiences. Alongside these professional milestones, Justin contributed to projects that caught the attention of President Obama.
Jay Lane is a seasoned Creative Leader and Digital Product Executive who has successfully driven business growth across the sports, technology, and entertainment industries. He is the founder of the award-winning Los Angeles-based digital design studio, Studio Pyro, and has been the creative force behind groundbreaking projects that blend artistry with digital innovation, and visual storytelling.
His client and project roster includes notable names such as CAA, InStyle Magazine, New Line Cinema, N1TRO, The American Film Company, Lions Gate Films, Tommy Hilfiger, Zodiak USA, and the renowned photographer Art Streiber. His latest venture, WhizPrompt, is an emerging powerhouse AI consultancy.
Jay and Justin’s joint expertise and foresight have positioned WhizPrompt as a frontrunner in the AI landscape, showcasing a remarkable blend of creative ingenuity and strategic insight.
During the event, JG and our guests, Justin and Jay, will discuss AI’s role in storytelling, presently, as well as their future expectations. Being at the forefront of the AI movement, Justin and Jay will touch on topics they are already working on including AI’s role in proofreading, which will help writers avoid common first draft issues such as the ones JG breaks down during every Basic Training. They’ll also discuss how AI will help writers and content creators speak to a global audience using AI-powered translation tools to help bring more awareness to writers about who their audience is and how they are receiving content, which would be useful to test against the intentions a writer develops as part of their Writers Boot Camp’s Concept Bullet Essay.
You can email questions in advance to jg@writersbootcamp.com. This is especially important for zoom participants.
You may forward this invite to friends, colleagues and fellow alumni who will be interested in this topic, especially writers and filmmakers who will benefit from Writers Boot Camp’s support.
If you RSVP and then find you cannot attend, please let us know. While the event is free, the staff and speakers spend much time and effort.
If you do recommend someone to this event, please have your guest note your name on their RSVP. Mini-Camps and Industry Interviews are ongoing benefits of Professional Membership. We open key events for Basic Training alumni and friends in the business to meet new writers who will benefit from our support.
