To wrap the first afternoon of our 2023 Career Progress Weekend, we’re hosting a complimentary Diverse Artist Social early evening on Friday, September 8th at our new HQ back at Bergamot Station.

This lively event will feature special industry guests, fellow Writers Boot Camp alumni, and our friends and colleagues in the creative community. As of today, we still have space available for writers, actors, and filmmakers who want to participate in the overall weekend, which includes a complete agenda of career-oriented topics and classic Writers Boot Camp fallacy bashing by founder Jeffrey Gordon (JG), as well as interviews with six successful alumni. Our gathering will emphasize support of actors, writers, filmmakers, artisans, producers, and creative executives of diverse heritage, as Writers Boot Camp has a remarkable track record of success by a wide range of women and artists of diverse ethnicity and backgrounds.

To that point, a higher percentage of the hundreds of major credits by alumni in movies and TV, as well as publishing, have been accomplished by women. For nine years through 2014, we supported Fox Diversity’s writers annually–and 50% of the writers landed staff jobs, including highly-touted show runners today.

Light snacks and refreshments will be offered. Libations will be provided at our open bar to add to the festivities and fun sounds of DJ Koda!
