The Bivouac is a select group of professional members camped for industry success who have written at least one script worthy of attention.
A platform for our mission as alumni advocate, The Bivouac is a conduit for connecting the company’s network of contacts and producing partners to our talented writers.
Not a session but a session of action, Bivouac benefits include a monthly roll call, quarterly script reviews beyond the two available as a professional member and alumnus, creative work space at the LA office and formal access to industry professionals 20 times each year for specific pitches for script assignments. Members who are in the guild may participate within WGA guidelines.
Eligibility has evolved so that invitation is automatic as soon as a staff member recommends your script to the office following a conference.
In addition to being priced affordably, as a member in good standing you are entitled to work-study options if finances are tight. Dues covering a year of benefits are set to keep pace with founder Jeffrey Gordon’s single-draft two-month consulting fee.
