In March of 1989, founder Jeffrey Gordon held the first session of Writers Boot Camp in his living room with seven writers.

Since then, here are just some of the major movies and television series that Writers Boot Camp alumni have written—in addition to the many published books and novels, television and cable movies, independent features and short films, documentaries, web series, plays Broadway musicals, like 2007 Tony-winner Spring Awakening and other award-winning work.

Even as the studio feature film business has become more challenging and the economic climate has recently limited independent financing, Writers Boot Camp alumni have had 20 movies made or released in the past year, including:
